About the Author

In writing The Ghillie Girls: Irish Dance Pals, Heidi Will was inspired by the friends she made and the experiences she had while dancing with the Celtic Dance Academy in Phoenix, Arizona. A graphic designer at Tri-City Baptist Church, where she attends with her husband, Andrew, she also teaches a beginner Irish dance class at the Irish Cultural Center in Phoenix, Arizona. Heidi was the 2005 Arizona Colleen and is still active on the Colleen committee. She enjoys reading, drawing, and playing the fiddle.
